Not EXACTLY matte or black but close. I think it's one of the best looking rims.

Saw these on a green jeep at my local shop, looked sick. They wouldn't look right with my color though.

KMC Enduro, I klike it because it has something different, rather then just round holes..

I have been struggling with a new wheel purchase for a couple months now. For me its between the AEV argent in 17x8.5, KMC Enduro in 16x8 and Mickey Thompson Sidebiter in 15x8. I have changed my mind about 20 times already

Right now I have the MT Classics powder coated black. Seems like everybody has a wheel that looks about the same so I just wanted something that not everybody has. You don't see many of the 3 I posted, Which doesn't make them any better, only what I like to go on my Solar Yellow Jeep

Thanks for this thread though, its got some nice choices in it.
That Raptor rim looks pretty sharp.

They dont make them in a 15x8. 15x7, 16x8, 17x9 and 18x9 are the only choices.
15x7 will work fine for your friends 33x10.5 but not so well for a 33x12.5. Does look sharp though

I like these. Struggling to find a wheel for my black jeep. I'm not a fan of all black, like some contrast
I don't want a real pretty rim either, one that will show scratches and s**t .
I might just wait it out. My stockers are about half done. Get some 33's and new
wheels in a nice package

They look nice, but look like they don't have much backspacing?

The distance from flat aera where the lugs go through to the back edge of the rim.

This will determine how far the wheel will stick out from the Jeep.

The difference between what a TJ needs for backspacing and what a jk needs is different. Like the rim you pickured. with its 4.5" backspacing a jk could run a 33 x 12.5 tire with room to spare. A TJ would not be able to run that same tire without rubbing. He would need a backspace of about 4" to run that rire.

Backspace on a stock jk wheel is about 6.25"
Backspace on a stock TJ (non Rubicon) wheel is 5.5"

A way to show it on a Jeep is to Look at TJDaves nice looking Jeep in his first photo.

Seee how far the back tire sticks out. He is running a low backspace wheel (probably a 3.75).

Now on my rig with a higher backspace, in my case 4.5"

His tire is a little wider then mine but you can get the idea.

So the goal, DaManz, if you also plan on running a wider than stock tire on your jk in the future and don't want to have to make tractor trailer right turns from the left lane...get a wheel with lower backspacing (or you may be able to use a wheel spacer--but this is not optimal IMO)

Thanks Scoop and Slacker. Something I never would have though about. I have a JK unlimited and was thinking of going with 35's. So, obviously, those tires would stick out from the vehicle, something I don't want much of.

I found these on craiglist and wondering if they will fit my 2011 unlimited jk. I have no lift now, but plan on getting a 3" lift:

Looking to sell 5 wheels/tires off my 02 TJ. They will fit 5x4.5. Tire measures to 33.2"

Wheels and tires have about 2-3000 miles on them, spare has never seen pavement. Brand new spare. Will come with locking lugs & key

THIS WHEEL/TIRE COMBO WAS $4000 AFTER TAX. Look up the prices. 18" Rockstars for 2002 Wrangler. 275/70/18 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs

Willing to adjust price if you have some stock wheels and tires for a TJ to trade, valued around $100-200.

They wont fit your jeep and the guy should be lined up and shot for even trying to put rock stars on a TJ.

Anyhow a TJ is a 5 x4.5" bolt patern and your jk is a 5 x 5".

Haha! Theres a TJ in my area with rockstars. I have control myself from laughing everytime I drive by. They're pretty popular with the JK crowd though... To each their own

^^^ Looks good!

What are your opinions on these two rims? I've pretty much narrowed it down to these. I didn't want all black or all silver so I'm gonna get a wheel with both.

MB Chaos 5 (15x8, 3.75" BS, $100 each)

Dick Cepek DC-2 (15x8, 3.63" BS, $95 each)
