Powder coat wheels or buy new ones?

Want some peoples opinions. I can get my wheels powdercoated for $60 a wheel. Just can't decide if I want to do that or save up and buy new ones. If I got new wheels I would go down to 16" while my current ones are 17".

I'd honestly buy new ones. I did pretty much the same exact procedure you described in your post and it was nice for like 2 weeks then I was just tired of it

I was planning on blacking out my stock wheels because I do like the look of them - but new wheels don't have to be much more $ and they will likely look good longer. Plus, I LOVE the more aggressive look that the additional backspacing gives! Personally, I'm so glad I decided to splurge for new wheels - it made a huge difference in how the Jeep looks, and I get a ton more compliments after the new wheels went on...

There are comparison pics between stock rims and the16x8 MB Torque wheels from Discount Tire if you click on the link in my signature - all pics have the same tires (265/75R16 Falken Rocky Mountains) so it's a good comparison between stock and aftermarket wheels... Hope this helps you decide!
