hey guys,

i have a 2008 unlimited sahara.

This car is a street driver - no offroad, but boat towing.

I am interested in the repro SRT8 20x9 wheels on quadratecs site and they recommend the goodyear p265 50 R20 with 30.5 outside diameter.

My question is should i be able to fit this wheel tire combo on my stock unlimited sahara without messing with spacers/backspacing issues or what do you think?

Also I have also been curious as to why when you go with a bigger wheel like 20's with these tires do people talk about "you better not plan to do anything offroad" with these?? I am not informed about these things and was curious as to why when you go to this is it so much worse for going offroad? would it be any worse than doing that with my stock 18's that came with the sahara for doing basic like going across a grass field with occasional mud ruts? Thats really all ive ever done off road hahahahaha. Any help would be awesome, thanks.

Less rubber rougher ride. Plus you can't air down. Don't know about you but, I would not want to destroy a $250-$300 wheel off road.

Google your question. I remember somebody asking way back. And YES, he got a ton of slack for it.

I believe wheel spacers are needed to run that wheel. Probably because of the size tire... 35's min? Not sure of the BS. But assuming since it is a stock SRT wheel it will rub without spacers.

Its YOUR jeep..... Do what you want.

That being said... I would never put those on my jeep :)
