Hi, just curious on some thoughts....
used primarily for DD / will see some sand, mud, rain and SNOW

I was leaning more toward 285/70/17, or possibly 33/12.5/17
wheel is 17x9 with 4-9/16 BS

Either would work fine. Theoretically, the 285/70 should yield better gas mileage due to the tire not being as wide (11" vs 12.5") and therefore not as much contact (friction) with the road. But either should work well on that backspacing.

Thanks for the info. I just talked to DT local rep. he said the 285 will wear more evenly.
