Hey I have a 2014 jeep wranlger unlimited sport and i am looking to put new rims on it. I want to know if it is possible to put the new rims on the stock tires? If so what size tims do i need and what offset? Thanks
Need more info, what size are your tires now? 16 or 17?
Stock backspace (BS) is 6.25" if you plan on larger tires in the future then you should lower the amount of BS accordingly for the size tire you plan on running. 4.5" BS is popular with the forum and wheel manufacturers.
Decide what your end goal is so you buy once.
If you're staying stock then any 17" wheel x 8 or 9 with between 4.5" & 6.25" BS will work. If you plan on going larger then get at least 9" wide and lower the BS.
Yes, you can put new rims on the stock tires. Diameter and width are the numbers that count. ANY tire shop better be able to answer that question but THE SAME AS WHAT you have is a good starting point. If you want to shop off the internet and rely on replies to the post?...... Well nobody lies on the internet
