so.... new tires.. i think. maybe?

Hey everybody,

Doing a lot to the jeep, and have been thinking of going to 33s for a while, maybe even 35s, but most likely 33s cuz its a DD

Anywho, i think i want a pretty aggressive looking tire. I have been rocking the BFG AT since I got the jeep, but i think I want a MT or maybe a Baja claw or something. That being said, what would you recommend for a good 33" aggressive looking tire. Also, I'm moving to california, so most likely any wheeling I do will be in desert conditions..

I know this is all personal opinion, but i want to hear what you guys think (esp you california/nevada/new mexico people with all that terrain that i'm moving to).. Thanks in advance

- Carlos

Best tire IMO for on road wear and offroad fun would be a Cooper STT. They wear like iron, drive great, and work pretty well offroad.

Best looking tire has to be the Nitto Mud Grappler but they are pricey. I'm sporting 37" Pro Comp Xterrains. They are nice and aggressive, but were about $400 each. Check out Interco tires.

those are some damn good looking tires, but don't come in a size i'm looking for... mine is a DD, so I'm thinking i'm gonna go 33s. I have 32s on there now and they're nice, but just want a smidgen bigger. i kinda wanna go 35s since i'm doing all my axle work now, but i dont think i want to lose too many mpg's (say what you will! haha)

so far, i think i've narrowed my list down to MT MTZs, Cooper STTs (according to ibuildembig's rec), and firestone m/ts

IMO I'd go with the BFG M/T KM2's.
