oh man, i absolutely searched heaven and hell for something with that look and could not find,
i was trying to get as close to the 41 WILLYS look as i could for my armygreen 2006 TJ,
but nothing existed in the right SIZE, here's what i found:
- wheels like that are very basic steel wheels that come on cheap vehicles and come in also cheap small sizes, like very thin width wheels 5" and crap like that. i already had 8" wheels, i wanted to keep the same width i had. could not be found in that simplistic lowcost wheel design as you post above.
- i did find that exact looking wheel but only for a trailer, and yet again only in cheap small thin sizes. so even if that trailer wheel came in a 15x8 i wouldn't have trusted it at all for the driving vehicle, jmo i don't know whether it would work or not.
- american racing makes something almost with that look but not quite there, and then they charge some asinine price like $250 a wheel, disgusting. they call it part of their "classic" series, i call it bullcrap.
- the stock wheels that came on the 2004/05 WILLYS Edition TJ also have a great simplistic look and i've read were simply stock wheels from the previous YJ series jeeps. i found though they only came in a 15x7, i didn't want to go down to a thinner tire, and they also were hard to find - the YJ ended in 1995, and i didn't see any WILLYS wheels for sale, at least not for a fair price, but still would've been only 7" wide - no good for me.
*sighs*.
i am though happy with what i finally got - blackrock usa-made that looks same as the cragar soft8 but was $12 cheaper per wheel, was only $70 per wheel, a simple steel wheel that was easy for me to paint OD, it already came in a nice flat-ish black. i'm stoked.
