Strapped and need tires

Having trouble finding a full set of used tires. Don't want to spend more than $400 for 33/12/16's mud or something close for my 05 unlimited 4" lift. any suggestions?

Look for these sizes as well. They are close to 33".

Just have to watch your local Craigslist, I've seen a lot of steals on there.

Thanks for the help! I just found some on craigslist 35/13/16 with rims off a 2000ish f150. Think they'll fit? I dont mind a little rubbing.

No, the bolt pattern on the wheels are different.

Would it be a good idea to put tires that big on my stock wheels?

May need to upgrade your axels for 35s. if they're stock it's not really recomended to go bigger than 33

I'd go 33"s, but so far this is the only full set of decent tires i can find. Would it be a serious risk, or just stay away from any gnarly trails?

If you are considering an AT, dollar for dollar these are a great tire (+they have a 50,000 mile warranty): Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct

Slightly wider: Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct

I have a set (35's with after market wheels) on my LJ and I put them through some pretty heavy trail riding this weekend out at Tierra Del Sol. They did great! I plan on regearing soon, 35's are pretty heavy compared to the stock 31's.

Here's a pic from this last weekend.

The money you save on buying these (35's) used tires. You will undoubtedly spend at the fuel pump with the poor gas mileage. I would look for 33's if I were you. After I lifted my Jeep and went to a larger tire size, I kept my stock tires just in case fuel went over 5 bucks a gallon again. I would change those suckers out so fast it would make heads spin.

Google tread wright tires. New retreaded tires for about $100 a tire. They come highly recommended. I'm looking at purchasing a set from them for my 2010 JK. Good Luck
