They dont make Duratracs in my size

Im surprised they dont make them in a 32x11.5x15. even a 32x12.5x15 would do.
I think Im going with the Hankook Dyna Pro MTR.

ok, I measured mine just now. They are Duratrac 33 12.5 15's. Almost a year old, just under 20,000 miles on them.

I give ya' the height call. I measured from the ground to top of the top tread at 31 and 3/4 inches. But, width is all 12.5 at the sidewalls. The tread itself is 10.5 wide with 1 inch of sidewall width pushing out on both sides of it, also measured at the top. (not the lower part with weight on it)

I imagine if I over inflated them to say 50 psi, the center of the tread would probably measure close to 33... but standard, as they sit with 30 psi of pressure, they measure 31 and 3/4 top to bottom.

Ok I just installed my 33x12.5x 15 duratracs on a 8" wheel. I have 2" BB, stock shocks, longer sway links. No rubbing, looks killer and I netted 3-1/2 inchs in height off the ground with the 33" duratracs. They do honestly measure 32" in height.

I forgot to mention that the wheels I used have 3-5/8 back spacing. I am sure that has alot to do with not having any rubbing issues.

Backspacing has a lot to do with it.

1jeeplvr, looked at your profile and it doesn't list your year model, so I can't say for sure. If you've got a JK, you want around 4.5" backspacing. Less means your tires will stick out farther from your Jeep. More (which I would not recommend) and they'll be tighter, and run the risk of rubbing. There are other variables, of course, such as tire width and rim size...

Almost all tires are less than what the mfr calls them. For example, DuraTracs come in two different 35" sizes: 34.4 and 34.6. Those measurements are based on max inflation...which you don't wanna do.

For 33's you should run about 30-32 PSI. For 35's 28-30. Tire shops will almost always overinflate your tires. If in doubt, do a chalk test.

Merry Christmas!

Yea but. Look at shipping. Discount tire direct is free plus you can get $50 off just by mentioning this forum. You can also join Tread Lightly.org for $25 and get a goodyear rebate for $100. Only thing is that rebate ends at the end of the year. Who knows if they will have a different rebate after that.

goodyear rebate

You have to have the tires bought before the end of the year. Rebate has to be postmarked by the end of Janurary 12.

Can anyone verify that the 33x12.5x15 duratracs being sold in 2013 are still measuring to 32" in diameter?

Thanks!

Fwiw actual listed size and mounted is about 1" -11/4" smaller.
Vehicle tire diameter default on my Superchips is 303/4 for the stock 32
For a 35 it's 333/4

Regardless you are still a 1" over the factory 32" if that's what you're getting at.

Every time I need new tires I get all the quotes I can get, discount tire direct is usually the best BUT I'll print that quote out and walk into my local belle tire and they usually beat that price without even seeing the quote from DTD and they're local with free balancing and rotations. I have never not had them not beat an online deal.
