Tire fitting

Hey guys this is my first time on this site. Just wondering about my 2012 jeep wrangler 2dr sport and what size tires could fit on it. Right now i have 225 75R 16 on it and they're just wrangler st tires. I was to get some mud terrains or all terrains, just a beefier tire. I talked to someone about selling me their tires and they said they're either 17 or 18 inch rims with bf goodrich mud terrains on it. Would they fit my jeep or will i need spacers and/or a lift? If you're from windsor, ontario let me know where the best place to get a lift is too. Thanks!

You can fit a 33" tire with proper back spacing, which would be 4.5" or less. So if its a 33x12.50 or 285 with the wheels having 4.5" of back spacing it will fit. If you are usin your stock wheels then yes you will need spacers
