Tire help!

I have a 02 wrangler sport right now i'm running 33/12.5/15 bfg a/t and a 4inch lift, winters on it's way in 2 months plus commuting too college isn't doing justice either with 33's lol, im picking up a set of 15x8 wheels today for winter set to throw either 31/9.5/15's or 31/10.5/15's on the rim's I wanted narrower tires for the winter what should i put on, also brand of tire thats a good a/t tire for mud and snow, some say the bfg a/t's are good tires in the winter but my local mavis suggested the m/t's

I just pulled off some Cooper 32x11.5's. Out of five tires only two were any good. Had them on for almost a year and they would shake like they were out of balance. They balanced them five (5) times and couldn't find the problem...I finally checked them witha a dial indicator and found three were out of round up to 1/4 inch. I bought them cause they were "made in U.S.A."
Anyway I got my money back and put some Hancook DynaPro 31x10.5's. So far I have been very satisfied. These tires also run smoother, quieter and track straight with no road walk. After I bought them, I saw they were made in China...damn.

My 33's do great in the snow and commute 35miles one way for work. Not sure how far your commute is, but would stay with the 33's

Esp123 is selling a set of 31" Duratracs, iirc. They are great in every condition I've used them in... Rain, mud, snow.... just sayin'. I think his are 16's tho, but if you're buying wheels anyway

I commute probably about 70 miles a day, i was going to keep the 33's but they hug the ruts in the road and I hydro plain alot with them plus because of the offset of the wheel they stick out a good 3 inches from my mud flares which makes going trail riding alittle difficult for the tight spots, tire wise i was looking at the duratracs, but might end up with bfg a/t's
