Tire help- no clue what to buy for 2011 JK

My 2011 JK needs new tires, I'm at 47,000 on the stock 255/75/17 rims.
Last year I started med school and as a result don't have much to spend on tires but need some ones that look good and will last and work well in the snow as I live in nebraska.
Back when I was making money I wanted duratrac as they look aggressive and rugged but it's 50 bucks more per tire as opposed to the nitto terra grappler AT, I just don't know if nittos are good tires.

I will mainly be driving highway but again in the winter it ices and snows a lot and I need something that will let me get another 50K on my ride.

I was also thinking about going to 265 or 275 but all the options I see end in a 265 70 17, vs a 75 R 17. Do I need to buy new rims for bigger tires?

Thanks everyone for any help and pointing me toward any specials would help.

This link seems real cheap for duratrac a, is it legit?

I like the look of mud tires but not sure if that's what I should get if I'm note going to be mudding, just highway driving and local driving or if mud tires have shorter lifespan.

Duratrac great in snow and looks aggressive... for what your looking for its best of both worlds... looks good and is great in snow. Nittos are heavy and stiffer sidewalls...

The Duratracs are a great tire and may make up the extra cost in durability compared to some but if you want alternatives look at the Cooper Discoverer and General Grabbers.

TireRack is very legit but don't count out Discount Tire, they are hard to beat. Run a quick search and you will find numerous highly satisfied customers.
