Tire Size comparison calculator

Changing tire sized effects more than simply how high your butt is off the ground.

Here are some simple but important calculators that will show you the various differences in performance that you MIGHT wish to take into consideration when planning for new rubber.

Be sure to look at the various tabs which will show you different types of calculators.

The calculator needs to know your gearing... I've got a 95 Wrangler with the 2.5L ... anyone have any ideas what my gear ratio might be?

Look on the rear axle at about the 10 o'clock position there should be a metal tag with some numbers embossed in it. the last 3 #'s are your gears. You'll need to wipe it off, and they won't be easy to read, but with a flashlight and maybe a magnifying glass (I'm blind) you can do it...

So if I am reading the ratio chart correctly, then if I am moving from my stock 29's to 32's on my JK (which has 3.73 gear ratio currently then I will want to regear to 4.11? Does the yellow "better gas milage" mean sluggish acceleration or loss of off road power?
