Just purchased a new toy and want to put some bigger tires on. Currently there is 30 x 9.50 15's installed on stock rims on my '92 Wrangler. The suspesion is configured with the springs under the axles. I want to install Mud King 33 X 12.50 tires. What are the recommendations ?????
Wheel it stock a few times to learn more about your Jeep and it's capabilities. You'll be surprised what a stocker can do.
There's numerous way to achieve 33's, but it mainly comes down to what type of wheeling do you think you'l do... terrain, how much street driving.... etc.
You could do a 4" Leaf Springs or I thin that 2" Spring Over Axle would achieve the same 4" height. There will be a trickle effect of parts or upgrades needed as well.
You might want to post this in the YJ section where more people can see it, since its a YJ model
