Tire/Wheel/Lift Combo ok?

Looking to do a factory order in a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited, and trying to plan/budget for rims/tires. This would be my first jeep.

Looking at a 3" BDS suspension lift and the following wheels/tires:

Mickey Thompson Classic III in 17x9 with 4.5" backspacing
BFG All Terrain KO in 315/70R17

Any issues with that combination if I leave the rest of the Jeep alone?

Thanks,

Willis

The procal module only works for automatics?

^i have a manual transmission and i have the procal. It will help the auto's more by changing shiftpoints according to gearing/tire size.

for the manuals, adjusting tire size for speedometer and tpms are the norm.

Did some more research and I'm now considering same rims, but with TOYO Open Country A/T IIs in 35x12.50R17. Any issues there??? Thanks again...

great decision with the Toyo Open Country AT2. with ur setup...there should be no issues whatsoever. You'll also get a better tread life mileage, and WAY better noise reduction from the toyo's compared to the bfg's.

Thanks for the input - I liked the BFG but was turned away by all the bad talk re: wet road performance (a must-have in MD). Now I just have to wait for my factory order to show up, and then do some shopping!
