TireRack not selling Duratracs

I just noticed TireRack no longer sells a couple of Goodyear products. The Wrangler SR-A (who cares?) and the Duratrac. Their explanation was an "advertising agreement".

TireRack says they "don't offer" that tire. I didn't need a quote. I like that site's specs chart (including the tire weight for each size) for each tire and comparative ratings regarding things like ice, hydroplaning, deep snow.

I wanted to compare the stock tires (GY Wrangler SR-A) to other models. A short time ago both these and the Duratracs had info listed there. Even manufacturers sites (Goodyear and Cooper) don't list tire weight.

Any reason Tirerack discontinued Duratracs

Any particular reason why Tirerack discontinued selling most sizes of Duratracs? It's a popular item - anything related to durability issues off road? I notice they still sell most other varieties of Goodyear Wranglers.

If you search Duratracs or even the Wrangler SR-A at Tirerack they'll show a screen saying this:

GOODYEAR WRANGLER DURATRAC TIRESAlternate Tire Options
We're sorry, we don't offer Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires online due to a Goodyear advertising policy. We suggest the following popular On-/Off-Road Commercial Traction tires based on Tire Rack's Consumer Surveys. We can assist with sales or questions over the phone at 888-541-1777.

I saw that too as I've been looking around for tires recently. Weird they would do that. Wonder what the story is there...

btw, Canadian Tire up here has them for 25% off right now, so may go price them out there. Usually even with duties/exchange etc, Discount, TireRack etc are cheaper then buying up here, but with the lousy exchange now I don't think that is still the case :(
