Tires on stock 7 spoke 18" sahara wheels

I'd like to upgrade my tires to wider more aggressive ones like the Goodyear duratracs. I'm trying to decide if I'm keeping the stock 7 spoke 18" wheels or if I have to upgrade to wider wheels with less backspacing. I'm not going rock climbing so the 18" wheels and duratrac sidewalls shouldn't be a concern for me, just good traction for my occasional trail use, and not too big of a compromise of on road driving, since I spend the vast majority of my time on road.
So what I'm looking at is 275/70 18 duratracs. Any thoughts of if those will work on the stock 18" wheels, without rubbing? I don't have a lift yet and That's a 33.16 x 10.8 tire according to discount tire.

Wow never mind, I had given up on my stock wheels / tires selling for a decent price so I was just going to buy tires, But they just sold on eBay for $1500, plus $200 shipping.

Now my options are buying 17" wheels 4.5" backspacing and 285/70 r17 duratracs or I guess going with 18" wheels 6.0" backspacing and the 275/70 r18 duratracs. I'm leaning towards the 17" option, my only holdback is I don't want them to stick way out beyond my fenders. Seems like this is a really common size for people to run. Do they stick out a lot?

I'm leaning hard towards the Black Rock Intruder 910b wheels
