Toyo at2 285/70r17 LT vs P

I know this tire is reported to be pretty good but is there a noticeable difference between the treads in the lt tire versus the p tires that would warrant the extra 40 per tire?

The lt version looks more beefier...check out the photos on the thread below. I wheel with my p metrics and have no problem whatsoever. did i mention i'm getting 19-20 mpg on my 285/70/17?!?

I would get the Ps, LTs are much heavier and ride very harsh on a lightweight vehicle like the JK.

Question Pmetric vs. LT

I have looked at the specs and the difference is about 3/32 taller on the LT . In Arizona that is a Lot with the Heat factors on the Road.

P285/70R17 117T 352150 48Lbs 13.4/32 32.8 Hieght 600 A B

LT285/70R17 352430 56 Lbs. 16.3 /32 32.8 Height
