My "P"285/70/17 at2. Small river crossing, dirt trail, sand trail, and a lil mud. I didn't get stuck in any of the terrains listed. I didn't air down and it was a lil bouncy during the rocks. Other than that, performance is Legit! Everyone else had mud terrains and I was the only one with a/t, except another one with bfg's. so....I'm my opinion, good thing I didn't go with any other tire. These toyo at2's are great on pavement as well as offroad. It could also handle 45 degree inclines too on the terrains I listed. If these p metric can handle that, I'm afraid what the LTs can do. These toyo's are definitely a Win.

Sorry for the pics....I'm using my ipad and I'm too tired to turn on my MacBook to edit em

These tires have really perked my interest lately, especially because I'm going to college about 2.5 hours from home and the Jeep will be seeing more highway miles. Usually I don't really like most A/T's on Jeeps but these just look awesome and seem to perform very well. I have Duratracs right now that are pretty new so I'm not in any need of tires, but I may consider the AT2's for the next set. I didn't see any 33x12.5r15 listed though. I wonder if they plan to release this size in the future? It would be a deal breaker for me.

I just got back from doing about 500 miles of trail riding around Moab and I can say they work great in sand washes, rocks and slick rock. When disconnected I did rub a few times over rock ledges etc. not bad enough to do anything to the fenders but definitely would get your attention. I aired down to 20lbs (hard to tell actual psi as the tires were warm already when I got to the trails and disconnected and aired down) when hitting the trails and never had a need to go lower.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. Do you mind me asking where you went wheeling? I want to check that place out. (Looks familiar) I'm going for a day run on the 4th in the San Berdo mountains. From Lake silverwood to Arrowhead.

I put these on my Jeep last weekend, replacing the stock SRAs. First impression off road was very positive, especially compared to the SRAs. Drove 230 highway miles Wednesday to my office, all highway, and the computer calculated 22.1 mpg....no significant change...of course, the wind might have been blowing the right way!

My Jeep is a 2011 Unlimited, stock suspension and 6 speed manual. Put on 265/70R17, not a big tire guy. On the Jeep, they are about the same height as the SRA, and a little wider.

I noticed this today when I got home. I managed to park the jeep with my tires biting the curb at work...left it like that for the whole day. Drove home and noticed the steering wheel was off centered and pulling to the right. Drive 15 miles home and once I got home that's when I noticed the flat. Aired up across the chevron station across the street and it was under 10psi. The gauge couldn't even get a reading. Dunno if there's a hole from my wheeling trip yesterday... I'm gonna check it out tomorrow. So far...these are so quiet even running flat.

TPMS disabled I have been ubber impressed with mine so far. I have around 10,000 miles them now and very even wear altho I have rotated them at about 3500 miles. Based on the wear at 10K I should easily get 45-50,000 miles out of them. I agree they are whisper quiet and smooth as can be. Definetly going to replace with the same only bigger lol.

Too damaged to repair. No road hazard warranty but called up toyo and they gave me 50% off. The shop was gonna buy my tires and sell me 35' wildpeaks for an even trade. Paid for the 50%!! That goes to show you how I love these tires. I'm gonna turn my sensors on (aev procal) due to the fact that I was running flat and didnt notice any sound.

out with the old

and in with the new. 50% discount. i shouldve purchased the tire insurance in the first place so it wouldve been free. it was about the same price so its a win win in my book.

too bad you could not have replaced it with a 35" you would have been a 5th of the way home lol. I am curious what Toyo's reason was for offering 50% off? Great gesture on their part.

i called up toyo's customer service politely and told them of the situation. they couldn't grant me a free tire due to the fact that i didn't initially purchase the road hazard warranty (the shop didn't tell me about it/and i found out its pretty expensive...more than the 50% off i received lol.) She just gave it to me in good faith. I didn't even give her any of my information just my name. maybe i can call them every other month pretending i'm someone else until i get all 5 35x12.5/17's lol.

so 1, i had to call toyo tires when i was at my tire shop
2, toyo tires talked to the tire shop
3, they gave em an authorization number
4, tire shop calls their supplier and toyo will pay the remainder of the 50% including mounting/balancing/tax)

So did the curb damage that tire? Or was it a rock on the trail or what? Seems pretty weak.

I believe the trail did since i was "crabbing" on some rocks. The curb was just the nail in the coffin the following day.

Awesome tires! Only have 2, 500 miles on them so far. They are very quiet on the highway…. at 15psi they work great in sand and grip well when rock crawling. I highly recommend them. My 2013 JK drives and rides better that stock with these tires and the 3” Teraflex short arm lift. BTW: Tires are 35x11.5x18

^thanks for sharing your experience with the bigger sized tire. i also forgot to share my experience when mounting these tires.

-the shop told me that he was amazed that the tire didn't require much weight to balance and he will start recommending these tires to his customers.

Of my 5 toyos one took 0 weight 3 minimal weight and one took 10 ounces. I tire store who is run by an old friend said that is well with in spec and nothing to worry about. It still bugged me so I called Toyo and they said that was well with in spec and nothing to worry about and if it caused an issue down the road they would take care of it and replace it if needed. I have 10,000 on them now and all 5 have worn exactly the same ie perfect and no vibrations even tho the one with the 10 ounces was on right front to start off with. Some tire places say that balance weights can be up to 1% of total tire wheel combo and be fine. That would put my combo at over 13 ounces yikes. Toyo did say they do not have a particular balance weight spec as long as the tire runs true.

I just did another trail run this past Sunday, and I lost a little bit of confidence since my last tire puncture. This trail was mostly dirt, rocks and a few boulders. The terrain varies and from all three mentioned and after a 5 hour run, I got my confidence back with these tires.

You digging the 35's ?! I've been getting a lot of compliments on them in the recent weeks. I love that i haven't been pulling rocks out after my parents 1/4 mile driveway of small rocks.
