Upgrade tires and wheels

I am sure this has been addressed before but can't find it.

I have a 2012 Sahara, want to put a better mud tire on it to help with the Georgia mud during hunting season. Thinking 17's and maybe get lucky with some rubicon take off tires. I really like the XD Crank wheels but someone told me the offset is not big enough. No lift on the jeep and want to keep it that way as I need to drive it to/from the office everyday.

Can someone lay out some parameters on wheel specs (offset and backspacing requirements) that will work without need for spacers? I just want to be able to pick out stuff that will fit without further alteration

Thanks!

Generally, you'll want about 4.5" of backspacing to run wider tires on your Jeep. It's all in here...

Largest tire on stock JK? Here's your answer!
