What fits on the Sahara 18" x 7.5" rim?

I'm sure you guys have gone over it time and again, but it's hard to search (and find) exactly the right thing sometimes...

I have Sahara 18" x 7.5" rims (the ones with the little Jeep on the side). What fits? 35's?

I suppose I'll need a spacer..what size spacer do I need to run 35's (if they do indeed safely fit...otherwise, 33's?)

Thanks!

Tons of sizes will fit. What do you want?

With the 7.5" width of the wheel you need to stay below 12" of tire section width to be safe. What size you go with will determine whether you need spacers to push the wheels out or not. Basically anything equivalent to 33x11.50 and larger will need spacers.

Well, I'd like the BFG All Terrain. Ideally, the 325/65-18...but maybe it's too wide?

I suppose a 305/70 would work too.

Something with a tread like the A/Ts (road biased) with good mileage and good snow behavior.

Since I'm considering a 3" lift, I'd rather not just put something 1" bigger than my current 255's. Might as well put on a visibly bigger tire..but I'd like to keep the stock wheels.

I'm all ears.

Oh! more data for the decision: I have the 3.71 diff gear set, and also, if at all possible would like to keep the stock spare tire carrier. Would this eliminate the 325 A/T?

(Edit to the above)

Having to buy a new spare carrier is not a killer.

So, will those 325's work?

Nope.

Minimum rim width for that tire is 9.0 inches.
