What tire fits stock 04 Rubicon?

Am looking to purchase new tires for my 04 Rubicon and am wondering if anyone has any experience with how big of a tire you can put on without making any alterations to the body or suspension. Any help would be appreciated.

31x10.5 is stock size on a TJ Rubi, and the largest tire you can fit on a stock TJ with stock wheels.

Other than additional ground clearance, is there any benefit to having 16" wheels as opposed to 15" Thank you.

16's don't increase ground clearance. They decrease sidewall.
