What tires should i get?

I bought a used 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport that has stock tires. I'm wanting to get black rims with bigger tires. What size tires should I get that are good for the road/ snow? I don't want to go too big because I dont want to get my jeep lifted.

Something like a 33" Duratrac would be a good choice, like ^^^ posted. They are a great all around tire and are severe winter weather rated. You can read up a bit more on sizes for your stock JK here:
Largest tire on stock JK? Here's your answer!

I will buy a set of these if you do first they last long and I am sure they are great in any type of surface.

For snow either the silent armors or duratracs IMO

I have stock '17' inch rims that I like very much. I also need new tires and want to get 33x12.50's. Does anyone have this set-up ? If so pics would be welcomed. (2009-4-door-X)

There aren't a whole lot of choices in a true 33x12.5x17 tire, though there are some. You should also look into 305/65/17 (32.6x12), 295/70/17 (33.3x11.6), and 285/70/17 (32.8x11.2). You *might* be able to get away without using wheel spacers with the 285 tire, but you will definitely need them if you go any wider than that.

Thanks,

I was watching a video from Tera flex and it said 33x12.50 is the largest I can go without suspension mods. Does that sound about right? Thanks for info.

Not too terribly wide. I mean they're wide, but not ridiculous like 13.50. I wish they made a 33x11.50x15 though. I have 33x12.50x15s on my TJ

Yeah, that's about as large as you want to go unlifted. You'll be fine on road, however, you can expect some rubbing when offroad if you disconnect. This is a 285/75/16 (basically a 33x11), with a 2" lift up front and disconnected. Tire was rubbing the inner fender something fierce.
