What to put on Jeep with 3" lift?

I just bought a 2002 Wrangler, two sets of American racing rims and both sets of tires are bald! One set has 235 75 15, (currently on JeeP) they defineately do not handle the best. The other set has 31 10 15 on them. The previous owner said I could run 33 probably. I want to go wider, not taller... Any suggestion on sizes?

Wider is going to be hard to come by. 31x10.5 is a pretty common/standard size. In my experience it is hard to find anything wider at that height. Not saying you can't, but it won't be easy. If you go up to 32's you can find a few 11.5's, wider than that, all I've seen are 33's.
Search the tire sites and see what you come up with. Tirerack.com and discounttires.com are a couple, but there are a zillion of 'em..

And welcome to the forum!

I think I have decided running on 265 70 15 in the winter, and going up to a 32 mudder for the summer.

The 235's it is on now just look plain goofy!

InfernoGirl, thanks for the reply and for the welcome.
