Wheel diameter help

The new kmc rockstars offer 17x8 or 17x9
The 17x8 have a +10 offset and 4.88 backspacing
The 17x9 have a -12 offset and a 4.53 backspacing

Plan to run 285/70r17 with a 2" leveling kit. Which is the best choice?

I didn't even have to look at the offset. its all about backspacing when it comes to wranglers. 4.53

you can also run the 285/70/17 w/ out the leveling kit. i ran it for a few months, and i even went wheeling a couple times with it prior to the lift. no problems whatsoever.

Since this will strictly be a mall crawler with 285 70 r17 all terrains would it still be best to run the lower BS?
