Wheel spacers

Just recently got duratracs 285 70 17 installed on my 14 wrangler unlimited sport. When the steering wheel is turned all the way left or right. It rubs. Ive called many places to see if they install wheel spacers. Everyones telling me no or dont do it, its not good for the car. Should i keep looking. Or just leave it as is. What will happen if it keeps rubbing. Would it damage something?

Search for spacers and you will find numerous threads. Read them and make your own decision about their safety.

Otherwise just buy some wheels with no more than 4.7" of backspacing. The interference can damage your tire or sway bar.

yes...what spinlock said. Most people who have installed spacers will, of course, swear that they are the best thing since sliced bread. Others, including myself, would never even consider putting them on a vehicle. Check your state laws too...some states prohibit them.
