Wheels, Tires and Lift!

Hey everyone,

Just got home from the dealership! Ordered my 2014 Amp'd Sahara Unlimited! Now I'm playing the waiting game, like a good few of you on the forum, Id assume. My mind is going wild with all the possible mods that I can do! I think my first upgrade will be new tires, wheels and a lift! I'm thinking 33's will be as big as I go; my jeep will be a DD, but Ill definitely be out playing on the weekend! I'm fairly new at this, but im learning. So far, I am really liking the Micky Thompson Classic III wheel ( in satin black ). Im also thinking about a lift, probably between 2 and 3 inches. Sorry, for rambling on, and i know theres alot of info out there on this, but its almost all over my head. If you guys have any suggestions with the tire/wheel combo, or lifts (and anything else that needs to be done with the lift) id greatly appreciate it!

Cheers

Congrats. If your sticking with the 33's for a daily driver, I suggest looking into the LIGHTEST tire available for that size. Good thing we did our search for you. Toyo AT2 Thread

For lifts, if not planning to add heavier bumpers, try the teraflex leveling kit. If planning to add additional weight, get active coils....there's plenty to choose from, and a few to avoid. You can check the Jk thread for more info on that. Too many options...pick your poison wisely.

Congrats on your new Jeep and welcome to the family! I can't wait to see pics of the Amp'd wranglers. Should be a good color.
Since you asked about wheel/tire combo I'll show off mine.

Wheels- Method Racing Double Standard 17X8.5
Tires- Mickey Thompson "New" Baja ATZ P3 315/70R17
I'm also running a Tereflex 2.5" BB lift. If I had a redo I'd put on a coil lift.

Thanks Jay! Your jeep looks phenomenal! I'm actually leaning towards a 2.5 in teraflex coil lift! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your MTs?
