I had the same question on here a while ago. I was told that pro comps wore fast and weren't worth the money. I'm now looking at the BFG KM2s, Mickey Thompsons, Dick Cepeck mud and country, and the Maxx bighorns. good luck

If it'a a mall crawler, the first ones would look nice.
If it's a trail rig, go with the soft 8's.
The reason is, you won't have as great a chance of wheel damage from a rock or other projectile on the trail wedging itself between teh spokes.
And so... if you're looking at the soft 8s, you might want to check JC WHitney for a good deal on them in a steelie.
