Will this combo work? Mickey Thompson Classics

Starting with the wheel I want:
Mickey Thompson Classic III
17X9 5X5 4 1/2 -12 mm

First will that fit? I don't want to use spacers or anything, just want to bolt them on. Will they stick out farther or be about the same?

What tire can I fit on? Duratrac 255/75R17 seems to fit, but according to to a tire calculator it is a 32" tire by 10".

270/75R/17 is a 33" but doesn't look like there is a Duratrac that fits?

I was hoping to fit 33" on my stock Sport, will any 33" tire work with those wheels?

Will the 10" width of the tire fit onto the 9" width of the wheel?

Sorry for newb question and thanks for the help.

Using the wheel sticky I *might* have found what I need?

Duratracs 285/70R17. 32" by 11". How do I know if that will fit on my 17X9 5X5 4 1/2 -12 mm wheels?

The sticky also says I should be shooting for 4.5" backspacing, so am I good?

The other wheel I like is:
KMC XD122 ENDURO

They have two good options (I think):
16" x 8" 1001343M 5x127.00 0 4.5 78.3 2200 lbs
17" x 9" 1001343M 5x127.00 -6 4.76 78.3 2200 lbs

With the 16s I guess I would just go with 285/75/16. Has the right backspacing.

The proper rim width for any given tire is specified by the manufacturer. For the Duratracs you can find it here: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac | Goodyear Tires

According to the table the 255/75-17 tires should be mounted on rims 6.5-8.5" wide. It usually safe to mount them on them rims that are up to 1/2" wider or narrower than the recommended range but some tires shops will not do it. It is better to mount off road tires on slightly narrower rim because the slight sidewall bulge will protect the rims and facilitate sidewall flex providing a better ride. Wheels that are too wide will do just the opposite.

For optimum performance and ride you might consider a wider tire or narrower rim. A maximum of 4.7" of backspacing will provide clearance for tires up to 12.5" wide.
