will this look silly

so i really want to get some lift for my jeep and i dont have the money to by a inch or two of body lift an tires and weels, so what im wonderin is what if i just get the lift on and then do tires later down the road. would it look silly with two inchs of lift on 15's (tires)

Well, what size tires and wheels are you planning on getting to go with the lift?

If it's just 31's, you can easily put them under the stock Jeep.

If you are going to go bigger, go ahead and get the lift on - it won't look bad with the stock tires until you can get them replaced. Now if you were doing like 6" of lift, that would be a different story. Might look a bit silly then

and i would recommend to keeping the body lift to under 2", say 1" or something, just an opinion though...

I have a BB teraflex 2" kit on mine with 31x10.50x15s and it looks fine and doesnt have any rubbing using the stock canyon wheels(I think they are called canyon wheels)




Since we are on the will this look silly subject.....
I am wondering what my wheels would look like flat black on my rocky mountian edition TJ. Anyone have a pic that you have painted the canyon wheels ?
