Will wrangler tires fit a cherokee? please help

I have a set of 245/75/16 tires that are a 5 on 5 lug bolt pattern and would like to know if these could be placed on a 97 Grand Cherokee. Please tell me if so and which adapters or lug converters I need to make this happen. Thanks for your help.

A source or link to which adapters for this would be very helpful.

Just got the official word on this from the guys at 4wheelparts.com

The adapter I needed is a WHS013 by Spidertrax. They are $99 a set (2 in each set). This converts his 5.4 1/2 lug pattern to the JK 5.5. Here is a link to the simple adapters:

WHS013, Spidertrax TJ to JK Wheel Adapters (Pair, 5x4.5 to 5x5)

You have absolutely confused me with this statement........

Do I understand correctly? You have stock JK wheels which have a 5x5 bp. you want to put them on a GC which has a 5x5 bp? You don't need adapters. But you do need to check your typing. Or else I don't know what you are asking. The bold area above is not correct, for JK bp.

A 1997 Grand Cherokee ZJ still has a 5 on 4.5 lug pattern.
