Not a lot of info out there yet. Like the look and if pricing is in the same ballpark as a E rated 265/70/17 M/T like it before at $225, it looks even better.
This is the first I'm seeing of these. Look awesome. Love the siping. I have the Geolandar MT Plus and they were great off road and good in winter not so great for daily driving.
They look nice. I avoid Yokohama tires since one of my Geolander ATs blew out on me while I was going down the interstate. I'm sure every brand of tire has blown out at some point though.
Looks good, it seems Yokohama introduced the tire just 2 days ago from Today 05/18/2017 ? it's weird it's not listed in the Yokohama website yet, and there is literally nothing else advertising this tires other than perhaps a little website with 10 lines references to the tire with a Jeep picture in it.
I found an article that says they will be available up to a 37. This is disappointing for me. I was hoping they would still offer 38-40 inch options like they do with the MT+.
It may be available in those larger sizes. Found this out there:
Yokohama Tire has introduced the new Geolandar M/T G003 mud-terrain tire. The new application will be available in the US in July and is designed for hardcore off-roading. The tire fits popular pick-up trucks and SUVs.
Available in 37 sizes, ranging from 15- to 20-inch rim diameters, the tire features aggressive sidewall styling, multiple sidewall plies and a triple-polymer compound for outstanding traction, the company said. Andrew Briggs, Yokohama Tire senior director of tire business and product planning, said: “The M/T has it all: intimidating good looks, superior strength, proven performance and excellent traction in all on- and offroad terrains, from everyday highway driving to attacking steep, jagged rocks; muddy trails and desert sand.”
According to Yokohama, independent test results have shown that the Geolandar M/T outperforms leading competitors in longer lasting tread life (8% longer), shorter stopping distance on wet roads (51 feet shorter) and reduced road noise by 2.3 decibels.
The new Yoko MT's are now showing up in the Yokohama web site, launching July 01, damn they look nice, i keep waiting for the KM3's,but i like this Yoko... a lot
None the less they are out there[emoji16]. I have found used procomps on line but nothing new. The Toyo's I was told about from a local dealer, but have only seen them on 18's. Good luck with the search 🥃
