I recently purchased a 08 rubicon. It is my first Jeep ever owned. I checked with the factory and got all the codes of what it came with Dana 44's 4.10 ratio but it didn't come equipped with front and rear differential locks or the sway bar disconnect. Is this a normal thing? Most Rubicon's I looked at all had these options. Also are those two options something relatively easy to add?

A. If you got a Rubicon, it has factory lockers and disconnect, or
B. You got a Sport with Rubicon stickers on it.
In other words, that equipment is standard as part of the Rubicon Package, along with the 4:1 Rocktrac transfer case, ad a Dana 44 front axle.
ALL 2008 and up have a Dana 44 rear axle, I don't know if a 2008 Sport could have been ordered with 4.10 gears or not; but something is not right here

Checked VIN and all with the factory and they said it was a rubicon. Just there are no switches in the lower switch panel for the lockers or sway disconnect. I guess it is possible they could have been taken off! If so it should be relatively easy reinstalling a few switches! If that's all that was done by the previous owner

I don't know where your info. is coming from but the "factory" doesn't tell you that you have a "Rubicon". The build sheet will list what you have, which if you have what's listed below then you have what an 08 Rubicon has as standard equipment. A Rubicon at the minimum has this for an 08, plus it will have a sway bar disconnect. There is no place on the factory build sheet that indicates "Rubicon".

DHWS 4:1 Rock-Trac HD Part Time 4WD Sys
DJSS Next Gen. Dana 44 HD Front Axle
DMFS 4.10 Rear Axle Ratio
DRZS Next Gen. Dana 44 HD Rear Axle
DSES Tru-Lok Front & Rear Axles

Thanks. I have all those codes on my options report given to me from the dealership I checked with. I guess the previous owner took the switches out
