09 Bubbling paint

Hi I have a question. I mounted some new windshield lights and when I did I found bubbled up paint I have 31k on the jeep. Does anyone know if that covered under 3 yr 36 warranty

Thanks

My son just had a paint issue on 2007 Sahara with 35,200 miles. The dealer took pictures, sent them in and called him to bring it in to get fixed under warranty.
Good luck.

I have since sold but yes I had a 2007 sahara that had bubbling paint on the door hinges. At 35,700miles the deal took his time get around to my claim. By the time they called to bring it in I was well over my 36,000 miles and jeep still covered under warranty.

Question Paint issues

I don't have bubbling paint however, I do have only on the hood of my black, '03 Sahara a lot of very small "checks" in the paint. I have noticed that many of the black TJ's have this same problem. I've wet-sanded the hood and used Black-in-a-Box to help and it's done a moderate job hiding the problem. Is it cheap paint and why only on the hood. That leads me to think it's a heat issue... Anyone else have a comment?
