09 Rubicon front differential

The differential on my jeep does not let the tires rotate independently when I make a turn. When I turn there is a distinct wobble and chirping of rubber in the tires. Can someone tell me what my problem is specifically with the front diff. and how I can fix it? Thanks!

Is your front locker light blinking and/or can you confirm that your lockers can be engaged/disengaged?

Axle U-joint seizing will do the same... Ensure that your 4x4 shifter linkage is still connected and is in fact in 2wd..

It might be locked up front and not dis-engaging. You can manually unlock it but I cannot remember how off the top of my head.

I know you can take the plunger out but its the locking collar you have to move in order for it to be open again.

Does the light stay on or is it blinking all of the time, or is the light off? When you put it in 4 Low and try to engage/disengage the lockers what happens?

That's the main thing we need to know to start offering opinions. It sucks not being there first hand too.
