Hey gus and gals,

I was about to pull the trigger on a 2013 Wrangler unlimited 10 year anniversary Jeep. However, I read that the 2014 Wrangler might have significant upgrades, such as 8 speed transmission, larger nav screen (8" or so?), back up camera, etc. Anybody know the specifics on the 2014? I love the red seats on the 10 year model though. Thanks :)

Personally, I would go with the 2014, but that's probably because there isn't much that I find compelling about the 10A. The hood is cool, but I can get an AEV hood if I want to do so later, which I probably won't. Bumpers? I would likely replace them anyway.

If you like the features, then your mileage may vary, but I'd rather have another year newer with minor refinements and more kinks worked out...and as an added small benefit, it will be worth marginally more later on when it is time to sell.

Of course, I feel differently when there is a major change to the engine, tranny, or the overall model. I bought one of the last YJs available rather than buying one of the first TJs...and I held off on replacing my TJ for an extra year so I wouldn't be getting the first year of the new Pentastar and auto tranny...and am glad that I did. ;)
