I went onto Jeep.com this morning to search the local inventory again for the Unlimited that I'm looking for, and I noticed the home page now shows the $1000 cash 2014 Grand Cherokee incentive.
Any thoughts on whether this will happen for Wranglers as well? Maybe someone from past experience?
I'm still waiting and hoping to get a Golden Ticket, but this would be an added bonus for some aftermarket tow gear....

Thanks

It is not going to happen.

The Wrangler sells quite well without any incentivization and FCA uses the profit that the Wrangler and Ram trucks provide to subsidize all the cash back and discount deals to move the slow selling vehicles like the Fiat 500L, the Dodge Dart, etc.

It took me about six months after I requested a product brochure from Jeep to get my $500 certificate . The $1,000 rebate on the GC is in lieu of the factory financing.

I got a great deal at beyer jeep in Morristown. I went in June 28th (Saturday) and took one off the lot, I got it for 4k below MSRP, about 6% below invoice. Not too much pushing. Just a "c'mon you can do better than that"
They have a few deals out there including , very bizarrely, the guy asking me "do you currently lease a vehicle"...yeah, but what the h*** does that havr to do with it...he had a $1k incentive from jeep that he added. Decent dealership no complaints on gettinb the deal.

That's solid for the area, I'm in the northern part of NJ, i paid about 3500 below MSRP... this was back in April though. I have a friend who is a salesman at a dealership in the area and even he refused to give me anymore then 1k below msrp at the time... I was about to just order one and i just kept an eye on all the online go to places and one popped up, but i was looking for a couple months..

How did you get that kind of deal?? the stealership in my town won't go below MSRP?? i got so disgusted i had to leave. looking into the tread lightly affiliate. would love to go in and slap the certificate down on the sales managers desk. you guys must have a lot of competition in your area, i unfortunately do not. it sucks. 4 dealerships in 100 mile radius

Unfortunately, each market is unique. If a dealer can sell every Wrangler they get an allocation for, at sticker, then I can't fault them for that.

If you're willing to travel, there is always Pat. Fly, bus, walk, to his dealership, and drive your new Wrangler back home.

I used the invoice on both Edmunds and true car. It was typically the same. True Car is easier to save multiple vehicle configurations on. Also, I got one around here to admit to me his holdback number, and it was 3% of invoice. Only thing is his invoice was 1K higher than the one I was seeing haha so the ahole built in another grand to his price as a cushion. Do as much communication as you can back and forth with as many dealers as you can- I worked with 9.
