IDK if anyone has done this, or shared it yet, but this is how I ended up mounting my front License Plate. It looks pretty good and was super easy! It also allows me to keep the Rubi Plate.

This is the bracket I ordered from Amazon for $17

Rugged Ridge 81503.90 License Plate Bracket for Outland 3" Bull Bars : Amazon.com : Automotive

You will need a 15 mm socket, a #3 screw driver, and a drill bit (I used a step bit so I'm not sure on what size it's at) & drill to stretch the hole for the bumper bolt. and once it's mounted before you put the plate on, just bend it back a little to make it so it doesn't hit the bumper.

Just takes a few min to mount it up.

Nice solution. Although not sure it would have survived the Offroad trip I made on Wednesday - may have at least done some scraping to it. I haven't mounted my angle-aluminum bracket I fashioned for the top as I am awaiting my personalized plates arrival and a separate decision around a winch. So far I haven't been poked by the authorities around here...

Awesome. I haven't put my front plate on yet (in NY illegal) but I don't want to drill into the rubicon plate, now I have a solution!!

Thanks!

I just put a rubber tool box liner in mine for now, cut it to fit of course. Keeps stuff from sliding around

Has anyone modified the hood grills to have a larger opening? They are not that functional as they stand and I was thinking of hole sawing a couple big holes in the bottom tray.

Not yet, however I am waiting to see if someone fabricates an intake system for it......the challenge is water.

Got my rig back from the dealer, said leak was from drivers door seal. Gonna wait for the next rain storm and see what happens. Hopefully she stats dry inside.

First run to Coyote Lake

Finally saw some action this weekend! The only issue I ran into was the rear tires rubbing the plastic end caps of the rear bumper. I will be removing them this evening. I didn't remove the front bumper caps but no rubbing. They would probably get in the way of 37" tires.

Nice! I am having the same issue. Does anyone know where I can find flat or smaller plastic rear bumper endcaps to replace the factory ones? Without endcaps the open ends do not look right and will just collect mud and debris. I guess I could fabricate and weld endcaps, but the metal on the bumper is pretty flimsy. Thanks!

My personalized plates arrived, so I installed with my custom mount on the center top of the front bumper. After running without, I'm legal, but not fully settled on the outcome. May fab an alternate version to try mounting it to the top of the passenger side end cap and see if I like that position better. Stay tuned...

BTW, RedLoop is a play on part of my last name, and is the name of my hobby photo business, RedLoop Photography. I thought it played well off the 10A's red tow hooks...

I also managed to finally rearrange things on the garage ceiling so I could get my Lange Hoist installed. Will remove the hard top later this week and install the soft!

I did a similar front plate mount but used the top holes on the plate, it covers up the rubicon on the bumper though (but it is just until I get a winch).

Why? Have you come close to overheating?

I still have the 730N in my Ram but got stuck with the 430N in the 10a
Overall functionality of the 730N I prefer. The actual GPS when in use for the 430N is somewhat better. But I still hedge the 730 over the 430
Just MHO

I removed the LockPick because I was having issues with the stock rear entertainment system and Im almost positive I can use it in the 10a, just looking for confirmation and a DIY thread on how to get the head unit off

Finally found time to install my Tuffy Security Deck. The latest version of this thing is really slick. Not only does it not rattle, it seems like the Jeep is quieter, probably just my imagination.

I think a few people installed a full skid system under their 10a. I've been looking around debating different brands. Any suggestions?

Haven't installed yet, but I have a set of River Raider's in steel in hand and ready. After looking at a few different systems, including these, the detail in this write-up is what ultimately led me to pull the trigger:

http://www.jkowners.com/productreviews/rror/index.php

Should get them installed in the next few weeks, and will post up images when I do.

Ordered it probable six weeks ago from 4wd.com. Everyone was out of stock, but they had a deal at 10% off plus free shipping. Installed it by myself in about an hour and a half. Really a very simple install, I was surprised. Everything just fell into place. When I was researching there were some complaints about parts showing that we're not black, but I believe it is completely redesigned as none of those parts that were pictured even exist on mine. I tossed several boxes of stuff including a case of water and a double bag of charcoal on it and it didn't flinch!

Like I mentioned, the install was easy. Bottom line is the brackets that mount the the lid fit under the two forward bolts that hold the top on. You put the mounting assemblies together loosely and then mount them to the two bolts. After that you just hold it in place and tighten everything down. Put the back panel and tray in place and you are done. 10 bolts and 2 thumbscrews on each side. All of the nuts a nylocks and everything uses washers. I don't expect it to come loose.

Smittybilt XRC Comp-Series 10,000 Lbs synthetic Winch with Maximus-3.com Winch Plate for 10th Anniversary Edition Bumper. Easy install, works great. Here are a couple different angles for people to review. I did use the Center Plate from Maximus-3 (had to cut bumper, but simple instructions made it easy) and added the black Rubicon fairlead. Thanks Joe (@Maximus-3) for your great customer service. Installed just in time for the Ouray, CO and Moab, UT trip!
