You should be able to email them for a set. I had already checked their site and did not see and downloads available for them

Yeah, me neither. I was wanting to work on it today though. Thanks, Finn.

Okay, possibly more important, does anyone know if there is a difference between 2007/8 and newer? Has anyone installed in their 10A? The one I have has a centered bracket, but the loop isn't centered, it's more to the left. I emailed sPod, but hoping to be able to tell them specifically what is wrong.

This is how it looks in mine - super easy especially if you have the instructions. I will look around for mine.

Take off the center upper plastic panel by pulling out and attach the mount for the switch panel

Trim the own plastic panel you pulled out using a box cutter so it will fit back in place around the metal switch panel mount you just installed

Now you can mount the switch panel and run the wire loom just behind the plastic panels toward the drivers side

It's easiest to route the wire loom by popping off the plastic panels running down the drivers side. Under the drivers side there will be foam fire insulation - use a flat head screw driver to puncture a hole to route the wire loom into the engine

The Source mounts easily as well - not sure if this. Position is different from the 2007 instructions you have but I can't imagine too much would be different

JD, Thanks for the pictures, they definitely sent me the wrong one. Where yours has the cutout offset to one side, mine is centered. We'll see what they say tomorrow.

Thanks again.

As I'm away from my Jeep (actually haven't seen it yet) quick question- are the hardtop quarter and rear passenger windows tinted? I'm looking to order side window sun deflectors and need to know if I need passenger and HT shades. My Jeep will be driven infrequently until Nov.

JKU of course.

Wow looks great!
Thanks for posting!
I plan on doing 2.5 lift
35..18 rims
How is your ride?
What's the difference from stock?
Did you replace back tire?
Did you need to replace carrier?

Ok, here are some answers to those questions
  1. How's the ride? Very nice! I think the ride very comparable to stock, if not better. My Jeep hasnt been aligned yet as I'm waiting on a rear adjustable trackbar, but it tracks very well. I did add an AEV geometry correction bracket, which may have alot to the good drive.
  2. What's the difference between stock? Since I've discussed the ride compared to stock, I will say that the height of the Jeep went from 18 3/4" in the back (ground to bottom of rock rail) to 21"
  3. Did I replace the back tire? Absolutely, I have a matching wheel and tire sitting back there!
  4. Did I replace the tire carrier? Yes, I put a Teraflex HD hinged carrier on there. It's a VERY well made carrier and preserves the OEM look and feel of the back door.

Here is a better pic:

Thanks man!
Love your 10A
I need to get working on mine. But finding wheels is tough.
I like yours though, XD Addicts and XD Strike.
But I'm rocking the Strikes on my ram. So not sure if running the same wheels is a good idea. Lol

Everything behind the driver is tinted from the factory. I had tint to a close match added to the driver and front passenger windows. Here's a couple pics:

I just sent a note to the River Raider folks about getting a set of aluminum before I saw your posts! Based in the pics, the aluminum sets do not require any painting or powder coating? Interesting, had assumed they are coated too?! The 10A underbelly just seems a bit vulnerable, how was she on your trip in PA?
YES! Must get them together. You need to see my TruckLites before thinking JWS anyway. Are you around this long weekend?

Rausch was fun. Will definitely be going back. Maybe get together with Aeschylus (and any others) for 101 (I think he was looking to go) then we'll plan a trip for 201 to follow?

Think you can get away without coating aluminum if you go that route. I wanted the armor of steel.underbelly is vulnerable, as stock skids aren't much. I was nervous at Rausch for that reason, but was never really in much risk. Slid her over some dirt/gravel hills, but no boulders.

I started looking at River Raider after one of your posts

So you got them powder coated black? I sent them a note asking how the powder coating would hold up

Lol and yes - probably too much red as I look at them - let us know how your install goes - would love to see pics
Yes, powder coated black steel. Figured I could always spray them with touch up. Install still coming, life keeps getting in the way, that and all this friggin rain!

YES! Must do 201, but not sure when yet... But yes, had fun, and want to go back. Things to do to my Jeep...lift, winch, just a few small things...

After a little research, aluminum oxidizes a thin layer almost instantly that protects, so no finish may be necessary. RR gave me a great quote to include tax and install. May wait to confirm what I want to add.

Very interested in taking a look at those headlights. Can you PM the 101 info? Interested in getting her out on the trails smartly!

Have you replaced the diff covers yet?

I around, may have to do a Bay Bridge run since Sat is supposed to finally be clear? Think any other folks up for a run and meet?

Truck lite headlights (from discount fleet supply)
Recon fender flare and turn signals smoked (direct)
IPCW Tail lights black (Quadratec)
Black Box Logistics roof LEDs (direct - Ed is great)

So, has anyone with a 10A actually installed the bumper hoop from Maximum 3 yet? In the pictures on their website, it looks like the hoop extends pretty far up the front of the grill.

I ask because I am interested in getting the hoop, but I also have the Mopar hood lock. I just want to make sure that the installed hoop is not going to block access to the lock.

I got my back doors tinted 5% and the front ones 25% because of texas state laws, had the soft top on so gonna have to wait to get the hard top tinted 5% too. I also did the eyebrow 5% which I'd never done before but I really like it makes a huge difference. Is there some where to buy darker tinted soft top windows? Would like them to match a little better

I was thinking of starting out with the

Eibac Leveling Lift Kit
p/n: Q2-16193JK

It gives a 2" lift to the front and 1" lift to the rear.

It gives an easy rating to install but no instructions. How hard are these to install and anyone have any thoughts on Eibach (I used Eibach on a previous vehicle and like them)?
