Yeah, was not worried about the 101 stock, but was not sure how much more difficult the 201 class was intended to be.

Installing CB and rear camera this weekend and waiting for Maximus winch plate to be delivered - then getting the River Raider skids in a week or two

So lots of folks have been talking about a trip to Rausch - if there's interest - I'll set up a 101 class

Dog - I'm thinking about another 101 class in July / August then the 201 class in August / September - any takers? I'll coordinate them if there's interest - it was a blast with the group we took up a few weeks ago

Anyone already set up a trip? Next time we won't have to worry about the cicadas
Is there a bad glare on the good with this set up? Exactly what I wanted to do but think spot and flood lights

Thanks for taking this time to explain. So what you are saying is since the 10A are not like other standard JK's the leveling kit may not make it anymore advantageous.

I like them wheels and hopefully soon I can get a lift on. Question is will those AEV Wheels fit the stock tires? I thought stock tires are 31.7"? Please explain (sorry my sleeping pills are kicking in and I am starting to fade fast.....)

Let me pimp out your ride real quick. Nice.. I am going in that direction myself and may need to ask a few things every now and then.

Thought I would post this so it may help someone else out.

How to read tire size:

Quote:
2013 JKUR10A Tire Size
----------------------
LT265/70R17/E 121 Q

LT
Service Type
------------
P = Passenger Tire
T = Temporary Spare Tire
LT = Light Truck Metric Size Tire
ST = Special Trailer Service Size Tire

265
Section Width
----------------------------
- in millimeters
- Widest part of one side wall to the widest point of the other sidewall.

70
Sidewall Aspect Ratio
---------------------
- Sidewall height, profile, or series
- From rim to the tread as percentage of the section width (70% of it's section width)

R
Internal Construction
---------------------
R = Radial Construction (tires body plies radiate out from the imaginary center of the tire)
D = Bias Plies Construction (tires plies criss cross on a diagonal)
B = Belted Construction (tires plies not only criss crossed on a diagonal, but are also reinforced with belts under the tread)

17
Tire and Wheel Diameter
-----------------------
- signifies the tire and wheel diameter in inches"
- 17 means the diameter is 17"

121
Load Index
--------------------------
- Number corresponds with the load carrying capacity (higher the number more weight the tire can carry)
- 121 = 3267 lbs / 1485 kg

E / Q
Speed Rating
------------
- maximum speed the tire can handle
- I believe the first letter is for severe snow and the second letter is normal driving conditions.
E = 40 mph / 65 km/h
Q = 100 mph / 160 km/h
S = 112 mph / 180 km/h
T = 118 mph / 190 km/h
U = 124 mph / 200 km/h
H = 130 mph / 210 km/h
V = 149 mph / 240 km/h
W = 168 mph / 270 km/h
Y = 186 mph / 300 km/h
Z = 186 mph + / 300 km/h +

Hey BadDog, now that you have had it a couple of days, how do you like the red Spidershade? Does the color match well? If you did it again would stick with the red or maybe go with black? One of the vendors has it on sale this weekend for $99 and free shipping, I just can't quite decide which color.

Which vendor has it on sale with free shipping? I want to get one as well but still torn myself between the red and black...

Love it! Definitely reduces the direct inbound light and heat. Also reduces the wind at highway speed. As for the Red, it's similar to the tow hooks, so brighter than the seats. It introduces less red color Into the interior than I expected (and worried about myself), and yet still leaves it bright. Personally I would still go with Red, but Black would probably be my second choice. Keep in mind, I am a big fan of the red seats. For the install, the video on SpiderWebShade.com is great. Watched it a couple times, and did the install solo. $99 is a good price, shipped.

Thanks, BadDog, I'm with you and really stoked on the red interior. I was concerned about the red glow as well. I'm going for the red!!

The glare isn't bad - I put the driving lights on top - they hit the hood a bit - but nothing you really notice

I put the spots on the lower position - they also hit the hood but again - very minor - they're bright as **** - expensive but I like them

Not overly impressed with the mount - hoping the kit they send me works better

Just to confirm - I have the driving lights - not the floods - they may be a little worse on the hood - but if I recall they're just a wider beam so you may be fine

I'd look at the real difference between driving and flood - I don't recall it being significant

Motorhead Garage has an episode on upgrading a 10A airing right now. Adding 3" fox lift kit, axle upgrade, and some other items.

The work was done @ "Xtreme Outfitters" who did all my work so far! Incredible folks!

It's a 2 part episode - Here are the dates for the Xtreme Outfitters show on Motorhead Garage (Velocity Channel) - 7/7/13 (Sun) @ 1p - part 1
7/9/13 (Tues) @ 5p & 7/14/13 (Sun) @ 1p - part 2.

Part 2 should be very cool! I was there!

New Wetokole Custom Seat Covers

Had to do it... Love the red leather but didn't want them to fade to yellow by the end of the summer.

So how often do you plan on applying conditioner to the leather?

Did my first 2 mods on my new 10A! What do you guys think? $30 for black lugs with locks from Pep Boys in Chi and $250 for tint job, wanted to black out the back windows a bit darker than the stock tint. First time Wrangler owner, so excited!
