Here is the link for the Side Rack. Perfect spot to secure and protect the body of my TM-V71A and of course its intended use.

JK Unlimited Side Rack (special order) | Springtail Solutions
That's really tough, although I'd like to see it in action with the soft-top lowered. to see how that would work. Hmm... May have to keep an eye on that one. Very cool, thanks!

Yes, the WD Grabs are one of my favorite $100 mods. They are rock solid!

No storage, follow the link he provided, or go back a page or two to his shots of his mods.

The best mod to get for the price! Highly recommended and there is no comparing these to paracord or flexible grab handles. The are well engineered and rock solid.

Only a couple little mods to my 10A so far but making the final adjustments to a big purchase, lift and tires.

Please give some feedback on this plan if I stage it in 1-3 stages.

Stage 1: AEV 2.5 dual sport xt drop brackets.
Stage 2: 315 duratracs on stock rims (assume ill need spidertrax)
Stage 3: teraflex or AEV carrier with high lift jack mounted
Next year or later: AEV Savegres or other properly backspaced wheel that strikes my fancy then.

Separate the stages by a month each just to save funds.

Any suggestions?

You should visit Adam's Jeep in Churchville, MD - not far from the MD/DE line They only sell Jeeps and they have several "package" deals that might surprise you. Also, they are an AEV dealership, so they have lots of AEV stuff and Jeeps you can look at to compare. My recommendations:
Stage 1 - I would go with a BDS 3" lift - nice stuff and it has a LIFETIME warranty for any issues.
Stage 2 - I have heard serious Jeepers and so called experts say 315 or 35 are NOT recommended on stock rims. Get a tire/wheel package with the AEV wheels & Duratrac tires you want
Stage 3 - Teraflex tire carrier ! Keeps the tire centered with great visibility to the rear.

My two cents! Attached a photo of mine - 3"BDS, AEV Savegres with 315 Duratracs. Teraflex tire carrier has been ordered.

Great and honest feedback and I think I will follow what you did as well.
Lift wise, tire carrier and tires with a diff rim.

Did you need an exhaust spacer with your lift?
Heard with anything over 2-2.5" a exhaust spacer is required....if you did use one, can you share which one?

BDS kit quotes it comes with something to address the exhaust.
Obviously I'm new around here and this is my first Jeep but I've never heard nor read anything about BDS, just looked them up. I think I just like a company that focuses on one brand only and doesn't carry product for 7 manufacturers. That's primarily why Teraflex, AEV, and metalcloak are on my short list. While it's risky putting all your eggs in one basket you better have one hell of a basket to rely on it for your whole business plan. Granted it's probably marketing hype that got me but I don't see myself straying from those three for most of the major upgrades I will likely do.

Thanks for the advice/opinion. My primary reason for not going with the wheels/tire combo and just doing tires is essentially a money problem not a desire to do the right thing. I suppose my option then is to wait until I have another "spare" grand laying around to get wheels but that is not going to be soon and I don't want to wait 6-12 months to do a lift and get new tires as the more miles I put on my current tires the less likely I am to sell them for anything reasonable to make the new ones more affordable.

I suppose I could run around with a 2.5" lift and stock wheel/tire for a year but it looks a little odd to me in my countless hours of google image searching. Or go with 285/70-17 Duratracs which are 33x9.5 or something.

BDS is a reputable company. More known for Pick up lift kits, but excellent products and lifetime no question ask warranty

It does have one, but Adam's did it all. I ordered my Jeep in late March, it arrived at the end of April, and it was immediately modified with the lift and tires/wheels, etc.
I never saw or drove it stock. Check out Adam's website or call and talk with Chuck. They are very knowledgeable, can build anything, and they have a lot you can look at or drive. One point, AEV stuff is a little more expensive, but my thinking was that it is all stuff built specifically for the Wrangler! (They have the right offset, thread pattern, etc for a Jeep.) Also, I wanted to keep my wheels/tires legal. There are lots of options, but most are illegal in MD. Too much money to redo!!

Enjoy!

If I were to order a set of Wet Okole seat covers for the front seats, would I select "Bucket Seats" or "Captains Seats" on their website ?

i put a rugged ridge exhaust spacer. It was under $25 . I was told even a 2" lift can cause damage to driveshaft boot if you flex or disconnect sway bar. Don't take a chance . it is a easy install. here is a link to a great jeep accessory parts and nice prices. 17606.76 - Exhaust Spacer Kit 2012-13 Wranglers

Thx!

I'm running the teraflex full carrier.

I don't have any intentions on upgrading the gears right now. The 4.10's feel good right now. Want to give it a little more seat time before I make any decisions.
