What brand camera did you put in the rear bumper and did you use a specific version of lock pick? Been looking for the best application for this for awhile. Thx

Mod list

Was asked to post my list. Not advocating one supplier over another, it's just the choices I made when I purchased and wanted to try to help point you in a directino so you can review it for yourself. Tried to throw a few comments into as to why I went with each item abut am willing to give anyone details through PM's or what ever, on my install experience with some specific item I've got. Hope the list posts ok. If not, PM me and we can do an email thing. The first items in Yellow, are things I had on 2012 Arctic that work fine with the 10A.

I did. Had to remove the passenger side because of the AEV tire carrier. I removed the drivers side because I didn't like the way just one looked. Really liked them as a pair but couldn't do it with my setup.

AEV drop brackets - didn't notice much difference
Replaced all suspension bolts.- still cant believe Jeep put fully threaded, too small bolts in there... they chewed my suspension sleeves out in 300 miles! They will get a class action suit on there sooner or later with the death wobbles. Shortsighted and bad for reputation. Shame on you Chrysler!

Absolutely. Would order it again without hesitation. The reason I didn't go above the mirror is my amateur Radio is situated there.

Just be aware that the mount seems to be specific for the Uniden pro 510/520XL as the radio fits into one brackets. Unless another radio is the same size of the Uniden, I don't think it would work.

It should fit, according to the specs for the Midland it's 4-7/8" wide. The Uniden is 4-1/2" wide so the Midland is 1/8" smaller, which is good as @1/8" bigger I'm not sure if it would or not. What you can do is contact Quadratec and ask. I'm sure they would know.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. The mount is solid (not cheap and flimsy) and it looks god too. Just noticed too it places the internal speaker just above the console so the console doesn't block it, therefore no need for an external speaker.

That looks great!

How difficult was it to drill the rear bumper for the camera?

How much noise do you get w/ that 50" light bar? I'm considering one but worried about it being loud as h***

Drilling the bumper was pretty easy using a step bit (some people call it a Christmas tree bit). I found drilling it a bit bigger than the camera and using a rubber grommet was easiest. If the camera goes bad, real easy to replace. The light bar does add a little to wind noise, but it comes with some silencers (for lack of a better word) that snap between the fins on the back. You don't put them on, it whistles pretty good. I don't hardly notice it at all other than when the soft top is up. Seems to tunnel a bit of the air towards the back of the top, making the side windows rattle a little more than what I remember. But that could just be the top stretching more through use too. The light out of that bar is mind blowing. You'll be happy with it.

Uh.... 300 miles and already see negative effects?
Oh my I better get on this ASAP. I have the bolts now, just need to do it. Was it the track bar you found to be wallowed so far?

Trail Rated 4x4

Hi everyone,

I'm from Belgium and I just got my 10th Anniversary JKUR.
I Europe we don't have the chance you have. It comes with normal bumpers, we can't add winches, ... to protect walkers.
But on mine I don't have the red and white plate on the left side "Trail Rated 4x4". Does someone can order it for me and send it to me in Belgium? Of course I will pay you before the sending by bank.

PM for the details if it seems possible for you.

Best regards
Marc

Anyone with a 10A run bigger tires with no lift? I was talking to a local dealer yesterday and they were saying that with the 10A stock you could run 35x12.5x17 with no rubbing. I have read that regular jeeps can run 35s but I have always heard issues with some rubbing. What is the biggest size tire (keeping the stock rim with spacers) that a 10A can run with no lift? If you have any pictures that would be helpful too.

I see you're a Marylander! Not sure what dealership you're talking to, but I would call Chuck at Adam's Jeep in Churchville. There are some folks on here that are running 35's on stock rims with no lift, but you will lose quite a bit of wheel clearance within the wheel well without a lift. I've also heard 33's are the largest tires that should be used on stock wheels without a lift. I have a friend with a White 10A running 31's without a lift and he loves it. Finally, checkout the Teraflex videos on YouTube on Tires and Lifts - very informative!

Hope this helps!

Typo - sorry!! Should say, "33's". Not 31's.
