Just pull the headlight. Only four screws and each is out.

It is always interesting seeing different front license plate concepts.

Hi, did not think my photo posted, said I was out of space? But my winch is the Warn 9.0RC with Wireless Remote. And yes, it completely out of sight! Extreme Outfitters did the work!

Extreme Outfitters in Kerrville TX made it. I'm pretty sure they sell a kit now.

After recieving my 10A almost immediately after it came out, I wasn't really im a position financially to start modding it. I'll be honest, I am brand new to this Jeep community and don't know much about anything. I was going to stat my own thread but figured this would be a good place to stick my question.

Bottom line, I wanna know where I should start and what you guys would do if you were in my position now. I have a 4 door and right now its stock and I have a $10,000 budget for parts. I have friend that can help me out with most of the labor.

Thanks in advance for any advice. And im located in the lower Hudson Valley in new york about a half hour north of nyc and im anyways down to meet up with some fellow jeepers.

Note: my 2 priorities are 1. Off road capability and 2. I want it to be mean looking

Hey MrPiff, you'll get a variation of responses and $10000 is a Hellava budget to have, so here are my recommendations:

1) off-road - Well, that varies from person to person. If you are talking about diamond rated trails, rock crawling, etc...then a upgraded suspension and tires will be needed. As is the 10a is formidable and I have taken my stocker to a few decent rock crawling places, however there is a difference between lifted and stock. I have the scars underneath to prove it! I'm currently looking at 3 different suspension upgrades. Icon suspensions, Metal Cloak lite and Teraflex. Each off variations and should be considered in what type of off-roading you want to do. Tires will be the same thing, that would depend on the environment you will be off-roading in

2) Winch - you'll need some recovery especially if you are going into muddy areas. If your off-roading with some friends with winches, it may not be needed. Tow straps and similar recovery tools should be considered

3) Performance - gear up with higher gears ( depends on your current gearing, tire size you will be going to, etc.) if you go to 37" or higher tires, re-gear to 5.13. You'll regain what you had on the current 33" performance. If you are feeling really bold, get the RIPP supercharger, adds a significant amount of HP and torque to your rig. There are a few 10a owners that have done it already. I'll most likely be doing it as well at a later date

Those are my suggestions. Good luck in your build. I hope to see updates and details as you progress!

If it is a HARD $10000 cap, I'd go 4" Teraflex lift with all 8 arms, stock wheels with spacers, drive shafts of course, 37" KM2s and Teraflex CRD60 rear and Tera44 with half inch tube up front. Load both with an ARB and RCVs in the front. If you can stretch the budget just a hair ($11500 or so), get the CRD60 front too (only amount to $1500 more than a fully built 44). Save wheels for when you have extra cash to throw down. After you sell your rubi axles and all your factory parts, you should be able to afford wheels or be pretty close for your original budget.

I had this same setup suspension and axles wise (both axles options) ... so I'm very well aware of the costs associated with it.

Hey everyone. Looking for some advice on purchasing a winch for my 10a. Any thoughts on a brand / model? I'm leaning toward One from the Warn line up right now. Would also appreciate recs on line pull rating.. Thinking about 9,500 lbs. Would that be enough for 2door? Finally, installation. Is this something I should consider doing myself or is it best to put my tail between my legs and have a professional do it? --- after reading through some of the threads I'm worried it might become a huge time sink.

Hi Chad! Yes, it is the Maximus Bar. Xtreme Outfitters did the install but I'm pretty sure it's bolt on with no drilling.....

Q: Which hi lift rear bumper carrier is that? I saw maximus has something in the works as coming soon - am tempted to wait or pull the trigger on a rugged ridge.

I went with the Teraflex carrier, crazy strong and looks almost stock until you start adding things! I love it! 👍👍👍😄
