M3roar looks great!

Ive been looking for Agent colored wheels against Anvil. Its exactly what I want to do with mine. How do you like the ride quality of the 3.5" lift? I have heard/ read nothing but good things. I am thinking about going with the 2.5" AEV lift with argent Pintlers my self.

The ride is maybe 10% more harsh than factory but the handling is so much better. The same turn I used to slow down to 45 to take, I can take a 60 without thinking about it. I think the main " ride " altering issue is the tires. Im running 35x12.5x17 nitto trail grapplers. Texas Truck Works recommended them and they were in stock. But they said they ride better than the toyo or km2 (in the same size) cause theyre designed as almost a hybrid. I dont know how much of that I believe but they look hella aggressive and are pretty quiet for a M/T. I wouldnt waste money on a cheap lift. its only 2200 for the top lift from AEV and it cost the same to install. Wait and save if you need to but dont cheap out. Do it right once. You never have to do it again.

As for the wheels, they look perfect on the anvil, not color matched but not too dark and not too light.

Having the AEV 2.5 lift put on today with GY 35 Kevlars with Pintler, Argents.
I'll let you know how it rides.

I apologize. I did not mean to offend anyone who went with the 2.5. Some people prefer the 2.5 height. I think 3.5 with 35 inch tires is perfect. And I didn't mean to say anything less is "cheap". But the AEV 3.5 RS comes with literally everything you'd need. ( Geo correction, procal, dual res shocks, & high steer kit. ) If those things aren't important to you like they were for me than a 2.5 kit would definitely do a great job. I don't think AEV makes a bad product.

I'm curious what the differences between your kit and the OME HD lift would be. I know the OME kit is only springs and shocks, but I can install that all by myself and its < $1K for the kit. I'm sure the AEV kit is the shit, but is very pricey as well.

No, I mean it'll cost the same to get just about any kit installed.

I got all the work done with mounting and balancing tires and sensors, TF HD carrier and hinge with custom fab on the aev corner guards ( to fit hd hinges ) and alignment after install for something like $1500.

I'm working with a shop right now on the corner guards with my TF tire carrier - did your shop start with the Pre-cut corner guards or the blank builder guards?

Started with AEV guard and trimmed and test fitted until they fit well. Then painted them and installed.

I would lay the hinges on the end of a table flat and just mock it up until it "fits" before I took it to the jeep. That way even if you need more trimming. You're still 90% there.

Thanks - this gives me some comfort - initial concern was that there isn't enough space between the tail light and hinge

LOOKS GREAT!

My Nitto 35's are being shipped as I type. I took delivery of 5 Rugged Ridge black satin 17x9's today. This weekend I'm installing a Teraflex 2.5" lift w/ Bilsteins. Do you have more pics of your ride with the new tires from different angles?

Also did you use a flash cal to reprogram anything?

Thanks.... Since production stopped early, finding one the way I wanted it wasn't easy. Every dealer I called was either sold or had been ordered for someone else. This dealership had a deposit and the persons credit didn't check out, so they told me if I can get there in a few hours it was mine. Gave them a cc for a deposit and the rest is history.

Yup, soft top was included on this one.
