11' JK remotes stopped working?

Got my jeep washed yesterday after work went about my day as normal with no issue and all was working well. Woke up this morning to go to the gym and neither of my remotes worked. Manually unlocked door and alarm went off but I could still start the jeep. Been trying to do some research on what it could be and the only thing Ive found was the WCM.

Anyone had these issues before? All I have read was to disconnect the battery and reconnect and it may fix the problem. Figured I'd throw this out there for your guys/gals to get your opinion.

I am no expert here, nor do I have a solution, but it seems like this has happened to me randomly. I will pull up at 7-11 and cant lock/unlock the doors with remote, etc.

Then randomly later on it works again.

Hmm next time I'll just wait it out and see what happens...only reason is i work crazy hours and don't want my alarm going off at 3am when going into work.

I ended up heading back to HQ for supplies and grabbed a wrench to DC the battery. Pulled the wires waited a few minutes and reconnected and the remote works again. Not sure what it was but it works now.

Hope this doesn't become a regular issue on such a new vehicle.

hi, on your next trip to dealer for oil change have the dealer reprogram the engine management computer...your jeep should
be under warranty ...

mine does the same thing... randomly. both remotes. try gently bending back the battery and button connectors. and make sure the boot is seated correctly. use a wide Flathead to pry it open. next step is replacing the battery...

Thanks for the tips y'all! Yes it's still under warranty I just prefer fixing things if I could but I don't reprogram hah. I'll also look at the batteries in the remotes as well just to be sure. Thanks again everyone.
