'12 or '13 Wrangler Unlimited Sport - how much?

I'm looking for a Crush orange model with automatic transmission and a tow package. Not really looking for any other extras as I'd like to keep the price down and customize later on.

Question - what is a fair price to pay for a gently used 2012 model as described above? I've found 2 at dealerships and both are around 29,9500. I priced out a brand new 2013 on the Jeep website and it's coming out at 28K and change. Of course, no local dealers have them in stock so I guess that's a moot point.

Just wondering what a realistic price for a used model would be. If it's within 1-2K of a brand new Jeep, I can't see why I wouldn't just buy new.

Crush is no longer available for order. You will either have to go with a 2012 (likely all used at this point) or try to find a new 2013 left over on the lots. It has been out of production a few months now so the selection is probably dwindling.

Wranglers hold their value quite well... sometimes you are better off locating a new unit (with your specs) somewhere and shipping it. Might not be as cheap as on your local lot but there must be some out there.

I bought a new JKU Sport S.

Search on the Jeep website and put the locator to farther out... you'll find one I'm sure, somewhere.

I went new because of this.

I get employee pricing and ended up paying ~1k more for a new '13 than the cheapest used '12 I could find within 200 miles.

I paid less on a brand new 13' than the asking price for used 12's due to my employee pricing and $5750 in rebates here in Ontario, lower interest rate too. Why would I buy a used one...
