12v accessory power

I want to tie my GPS into the 12v somewhere, probably the unswitched side so it gets power even when the key is off. Before I start rooting around under the dash I thought I'd check to see if anybody has any suggestions, or maybe knows if Jeep already provides a handy spot to tie into the vehicle power. If not I'll just splice into the 12v power port.

there is a connecter called a T-tap....it can connect around your wires with a pair of pliers...then you use a standard Male 250 connecter to plug into the T-taps...connected one to your switched lighter plug outlet wires...one for pos and one for neg....then your ready to go....
