'13 Gecko Green JK Sport Build Thread!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to start a thread about my relatively new Jeep. It is a 2013 Gecko Green Wrangler Sport. Have had it for a few months and have loved driving it! I have lots of different parts and accessories going on in at the moment, but I will start with the stock photos I have of it and update from there! Hope you like it

Be advised. If you do anything too cool to it, I'm going to shamelessly steal it for mine.

How tall is your Jeep with these mods installed? Would it fit in a 6'7" garage?

Also, where did you get this work done? I'm up near SF and am looking for a good shop.

Also, with a 4" lift don't you have to replace driveshafts?

Hey! Since I have so much free time I actually went and measured it haha. It came out to be around 76 inches tall maybe 76.5-77 at its utmost height. The only issue is the antenna which comes out to 81 inches. The antenna can easily just be bent when parked without an issue or like most people on the forum end up doing is getting a stubby antenna. So with the garage being 79 inches it is doable but will be very close! If you did a 3 in lift or 35s you could do it very easily.

As for getting the work done: I went to a shop called OC Motorsports in Costa Mesa... So it might be too far. Great shop though, with excellent staff!
A very popular shop among the forums is JeePerformance in Yucaipa, Rebel Offroad, and Poison Spyder to name a a few near me.

And that is a good point! I forgot to mention that I did get a new driveshaft!

Thanks! I am glad that you like the look! On Friday I am planning on adding a couple black trim pieces around the lights, blacking out the jeep logo, and plasti-dipping the door hinges. I am trying to get that green + black look throughout!

Looks good.

You mentioned the DS was replaced, did you only replace the rear or both?

Very cool. Thanks for the info, I'll need to research those places.

There isn't really many Jeep shops up in this area so I might need to take a drive to find an expert to look at mine...

Again, you've got an awesome build.

Lookin good man . That's a lot of high powered mods in one shot! How much did it run you to get all that? You've got a lot of mods that are on my todo list but I'm creeping along sporting mods like... "new all weather floor mats" and "new stubby antenna".

Maybe I should just cash in my 401k...
