Noticed my headlights were a little low. After adjusting them I thought I'd measure and found my HR rake is 2 1/4 inches. That's a lot IMO.
Never measured it before.
Not sure whether I should just put 2" of puck in or what.....

Seriously that sounds like something is wrong, but I'm not sure what you can objectively compare it to, seems most every jeep nowadays has a different amount of rake.
Does anyone know what the point of the rake is anyway? Back when I had a CJ5 I don't recall rake being an issue at all. Personally I don't care for the rake.

Isn't it the same reason pickups have rake? So that when you load up the rear with weight there's room to sag without making the front higher than the rear?
When I lifted my 13 Rubicon, the TF lift is supposed to level out the rake. The front went up 3.5" and the rear only 5/8". This resulted in the rear looking a little low, so I added 1" spacer and I like the way it sits now. I was told that you can't really go by measuring the fenders as they are designed to have different clearance. Measuring the pinch seam to pavement, it is 1/2" higher in the rear with out being loaded.
No, the fenders are not even... If you want to have the same fender gap front to rear, then you would retain a slight rake in the frame/body. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you like. But, that's why we measure the pinch seams if you are going for a "true" leveling.
Well the 19/59's we thought you had would only be 1/2" better... That's way off. I'd be curious to hear what the dealer says about that. Pull it up next to another Jeep on the lot and compare.
^^^This is mine with 14 fronts and 57 rear springs.
^^^Same springs with a 1" TF Spacer. Measuring from ground to center of fender, mine is 1/4" higher in the front know.

I don't have a good side pick of it, but you can tell that the rack is minimal. I measure it from ground to front fender and same on rear. Approx. 3/4" lower rake to the front.
It actually looks good with the 3/4"..IMO
His has 19 fronts and 60 rears.
I agree with Pressurized, measuring the pinch seam is more accurate!
Just measured my 2016 JKU Hard Rock (with 18/60 springs as well) and I am exactly 1" lower in front than in back - measured from the ground to the pinch seam. Same when measuring from the ground to the fender lip. Both sides were the same.
Are you sure your little run-in with the semi (or should I say the semi ran-in to you) has not caused some unforeseen damage?
Ok guys. Thinking caps..... What are your theories? I can't even think how to diagnose this.
My thought is "Lift it" now. Do as extensive a tear out as possible to hen if it aligns - so be it.
I would take it to dealer and tell them to correct unless they can show it was the semi and if so then you call the insurance carrier and settle up and get your lift paid for.
What are your measurements F & R? Just want to see if the difference is all up front or not.
Mine measures 17 5/8" Front & 18 5/8" Rear (from ground to pinch seam). Mine will be slightly higher than yours as I am running 33" ish tires.
Here are random thoughts, in no particular order:
I would check to make sure all the control arm mounts are straight (body & axle) and not bent. And check the front control arms to make sure they were not bent from the impact(s).
Were you on the brakes when the semi backed into you, repeatedly correct?
Not sure how it could of happened, but try loosing the bolts going thru the control arms, bounce the jeep a bit to reset the control arm bushings and re-tighten. Just in case the bushings got tweaked from the impacts (same principle as when you lift your Jeep and not wanting the control arms to bind).
Also check your body mount bushings - 3 are easy to see - right under the doors and see if they all looks about the same and not compressed/distorted. Just in case the body got tweaked in relation to the frame.
How does the front shocks look - straight not bent? A bent shock rod would prevent the Jeep from getting to its correct ride height.
How does the front swaybar look? Are both ends of the swaybar pretty much parallel to the ground? How about the endlinks? Look straight? Is the bar shifted over to one side more than the other?

It had to be recent because I Know where my headlights were aimed and they were a couple inches low.
Hey Rubi- I measured mine several times before I put the leveling kit on it. Fortunately, I still had the notebook with those numbers jotted down. I would think that yours should have been similar.

These numbers seemed to float around as much as 1/2 inch depending on how much gas was in it and presumably where the suspension came to rest, but it was pretty consistent that the front was approximately 1" lower than the back at the fenders.
Did the shop swap the front coils out? Binding in the front suspension pulling it down.. Rear end shift and sitting higher now? Front shocks replaced? Front shocks leaking causing sag? Have you removed weight from the back - I gained over an inch just taking the hardtop off...
We assume you have crawled around extensively underneath looking for bent or damaged mounts, arms, etc.
As mentioned above and it's a real chore, but I would loosen all 16 control arm bolts and the 4 track bar bolts and bounce on her real good to loosen it all up and re-torque sitting at ride height. Preloaded control arms can really do some strange things...
I'm not coming up with anything specific related to ride height and your accident... I can't imagine that it caused front spring sag. But measure your front and rear to the post above so maybe we can tell if it's a front or rear issue.

I'll post back when I get some recorded measurements. I refuse to believe him hitting me did this simply because it doesn't seem logical.
There wasn't enough damage elsewhere and I was able to roll back with the hit(s).
My Jeep is tougher than this....
Not looking at it now but, I imagine the Hood has a natural slope built in to it.
Perhaps the pinch seam or top of the front fender (metal part, not flare) would be the areas to measure to ground.
Just sayin, if you get the hood level, or even sloped upwards a touch you'll have a sweet overall look imo.
(course you know what they say about opinions... lol)

I measured Six(6) Jeeps today (salesmen were watching me out the window)
Everyone was 1" variance (+/- 1/4")
Pretty (shockingly) consistent actually.
