2.5" AEV Spring Question

I received my 2.5" Dual Sport kit tonight and plan to start installing tomorrow. I've never seen dual rate springs before....do the tighter windings go towards the top or bottom?

Thanks!

Aren't they triple rate springs? If so they are plush on top, slightly stiffer in the middle, and even stiffer on the bottom. Dual rate is the same minus the middle stiffness
